Reduction of sentence, as part of the second degree trial, for the defendants in the trial for the death of Emanuele Morganti, the twenty year old from Tecchiena, who died after a beating in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone.
The judges of the Court of Assizes of Appeal of Rome have set the sentence of 14 years for Michel Fortuna, Paolo Palmisani and Mario Castagnacci sentenced in the first instance to 16 years.
For them the accusation of unintentional murder remains: the judges did not accept the request of the pg who had hypothesized the voluntary murder.
The magistrates also confirmed the acquittal for Franco Castagnacci, Mario's father.
