The Roads Department in the Technical Services Directorate in Homs carried out emergency maintenance work for a number of roads in the western countryside that were damaged by heavy rains during the past days.
In a statement to SANA's correspondence today, the head of the department, Eng. Iyad Abdul-Karim, said that the maintenance workshops had built a 75-meter-long ferry on the Al-Mazina - Balat road to drain water towards the nearby bridge after the rainwater level on the road reached a height of about 4 meters, which led to the interruption of the connecting road Between the villages of Al Mazina and Balat.
He indicated that the workshops also carried out maintenance works for the ferries, cleaning the trenches and opening the concrete roads to Mashta al-Helou roads - Rawdat al-Wa'er .. Shein - Khirbet al-Hamam .. Zafarana - al-Khansa .. Hodeidah - Umm Jameh .. Um Haratain .. Al Rajabliya .. and even Al Mazina Junction - Safar ... The Opponent - Arqaya ... Jaraya - Hadiya ...
