New media campaign: Put on a sack and stop the plague
Following the call of the Admor Rabbi Josiah Pinto shlita, the head of the patriarchs in Morocco, to wear a sack for about an hour a day as our ancestors did in all generations in times of trouble and distress, a new campaign is emerging that has led many more to join the thousands already doing so today.

A new campaign that surfaced today (Thursday) on radio stations and select sites calls for wearing a sackcloth every day, at least one hour a day.
Thanks to this, the campaign says, the rampant corona plague is stopped and salvation is gained.
The campaign was born following the call of the Admor Rabbi Josiah Pinto shlita, the head of the patriarchs of the courts in Morocco, to wear a sack during this period, about an hour a day, and as our ancestors did in all generations when they were in trouble and distress.
Already today, many thousands from Israel and around the world wear a sack every day, in light of the reading of the Rebbe Rabbi Pinto. Now many more are expected to join the spiritual initiative that is gaining much momentum
. The rabbi also quoted the words of the son Ish Chai, according to which the sack should be a sack containing goat feathers, which will enter the pores of the body and hurt the person.
Rebbe Rabbi Pinto went on to explain: “A sack that is put on the body - it is against the destruction of the Temple, it is a symbol of mourning.
A sack that hurts the body, and enters the pores of the meat, is a sack that brings about atonement and with it you buy the four hundred gates, like the four hundred shekels of silver that bought the Cave of the
Patriarchs. "
