The coronavirus continues to spread and wreak havoc on entertainment.

Now it is known that

Raúl Rizzo

contracted the disease and, due to his condition as a person at risk, was

admitted to intensive care

at the High Complexity Medical Institute (IMAC).

The 72-year-old actor

would have been infected after his son

, who attends a vacation colony daily,

has also tested positive

for coronavirus.

No further details about the artist's state of health have yet been revealed.

It should be remembered that in September of last year, Rizzo had been involved in a controversy after images of the actor were disseminated at a clandestine party with his neighbors in the middle of the pandemic.

The images went viral and as a result of that situation, Raúl had been harshly questioned on social networks, since the celebrations had been when social and compulsory isolation still prevailed.

In

Los Angeles de la Mañana

(El Trece, at 11) they had shown images of the artist celebrating: "Nothing is missing on this impressive night, the COVID Fest in Corvalán (a street in the Villa Luro neighborhood)".

When this issue came to light, Rizzo minimized what happened in dialogue with the journalist Andrea Taboada: "What I tell you is this: the neighbors played the national anthem and, later, they put on a little music. And each one (danced) from the door of his house. They did not break any quarantine. It was like being looking out on a balcony. In this case there are no balconies ... Yes, some in front have a balcony. And from the sidewalk. Nothing else. That's all. "

Likewise, he had also pointed out that on that occasion “no quarantine was broken and no one was infected.” And he added: “I don't understand what they are looking for ... What are they looking for?

Because nothing happened, absolutely nothing.

The police once passed by and, seeing what it was about and under what conditions it was done, authorized it.

I do not understand".

In August of last year, Rizzo's statements also attracted attention when he questioned his colleague Luis Brandoni, who had participated in the August 17 march to demand some of the restrictions imposed by the Government in the midst of the pandemic.

In an audio that transcended at that time his firm and vehement position was heard: "These meetings have a clear objective, and whoever does not want to see it, there they. He wanted to make this manifest and that we take it into account. We must differentiate ourselves from those people who are helping to increase the cases (of COVID-19) ”.
