It is undoubtedly the youngest of the academies in France, but not the least active.
Created in 2008, the discreet Catholic Academy of France brings together all that the Catholic world of France has from scholars and intellectuals in the multiple fields of knowledge.
Most of them are lay people, the religious being a very small minority.
It notably includes the philosophers Chantal Delsol and Pierre Manent, the writer Alain Vircondelet and the lawyer Dominique de la Garanderie.
