With the participation of 60 medical companies, the Syrian Medical Exhibition for Pharmaceutical Industries and Dental Equipments was inaugurated today, which is being held by Thiqa Exhibitions at the Sheraton Hotel in Aleppo, which included the latest medical equipment, dentists ’supplies, and therapeutic medicines for dental patients.

Wasim Nashed, Director of Thiqa Company for Exhibitions, said in a statement to the correspondent of SANA in Aleppo, the importance of holding the exhibition in Aleppo to revive the holding of exhibitions in them after stopping their holding due to the Corona virus crisis, indicating that it is considered the first specialized medical exhibition and included two sections, the first for Sunni equipment and supplies, and the second for the new in the pharmaceutical and therapeutic industries of major companies Which its owners insisted on participating despite the difficulties facing its work, the most important of which is the lack of availability of raw materials for the pharmaceutical industries as a result of the unjust siege on Syria in order to demonstrate the competence of the national drug product and meet the needs of the market and the citizen.

Nashed pointed out that the three-day exhibition is accompanied by several lectures under the supervision of the Syndicates of Dentists and Pharmacists in Aleppo to inform dentists, university students and pharmacists about the latest medical equipment and new methods of treatment and implantation.

The Sana camera monitored the opinions of a number of the owners of the participating medical and pharmaceutical companies, as Jamil Daqas, the owner of a dental equipment company, stated that he is participating in a group of modern medical devices for the dental industry and tools to put them at the dentist's reach at an affordable price and high quality, noting the importance of holding the exhibition in Aleppo, which is recovering from terrorism.

Ahmed Al-Louaj, owner of an establishment for the manufacture of dental instruments and laboratories, pointed to his participation with a hundred varieties of national medical products specialized in dental treatment, including metal and plastic tools and dental printing templates, noting the importance of the exhibition to see local and new products in dental treatment and to encourage the local industry of medical materials.

Wissam Sayed Wahba, director of sales at a pharmaceutical industries company, said that the aim of participating in the exhibition is to secure the needs of citizens of all types of medical drugs, to achieve acquaintance with the producing medical companies and to exchange experiences in the areas of the Sunni pharmaceutical industry and its requirements in order to overcome the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria.

Obeida Fattal, a participant in the exhibition, stated that it constitutes an important opportunity to market the medicinal items produced by medical companies with a focus on providing discounted offers to doctors, while the participant, Sidran Sebaei, pointed out that the exhibition constitutes a forum for dentists and pharmacists in Aleppo with its scientific table full of lectures as well as for viewing the items Pharmaceutical and new medical preparations after a period of interruption of their production due to the damage to the pharmaceutical industry factories in Aleppo from terrorism.

A number of visitors to the exhibition expressed their admiration for the abundant and qualitative quantity of medicines for dental treatment and their technical equipment, in addition to highlighting the Syrian pharmaceutical industries that have not stopped production despite the war and the siege to meet the needs of the local market.
