The leaders of the Turkish opposition parties criticized the statements of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, regarding the drafting of a new constitution for Turkey, stressing that it does not respect or abide by the current constitution and that he must get rid of his authoritarian mentality before talking about such matters.

During a press conference held today by the leaders of the Democracy and Progress Party, Ali Babacan, the Good Party Maral Akshenar, the Happiness Party of Tamal Karamullaoglu and the Republican People's Party, Kemal Kılıçdarolu, the four leaders accused Erdogan of lying and evasive, stressing that what he seeks is to distract the people with issues and side issues so that they do not think about their daily problems, the most important of which is unemployment. Bankruptcy and poverty.

The party leaders added that Erdogan, who is talking about a new constitution, says that he will not give up his powers in the current constitution, and he is the one who destroyed all state institutions and eliminated democracy, human rights and all individual and political freedoms in Turkey.

In a related context, the Turkish Workers' Party leader, Arkan Bash, accused Erdogan of pursuing terrorist policies against all groups of people without discrimination, and of pursuing a policy of plunder, theft, injustice and starvation.

During a session of the Turkish Parliament, Bash pointed to the seriousness of Erdogan's approach to domestic and foreign policy, pointing out that the latter intended to draft a new constitution to obtain more powers for it and more oppression and tyranny against the Turkish people.
