A rare traffic accident occurred in Yuen Long.

At 8 o'clock in the evening yesterday (4th), a private car and a van collided on Education Road. The drivers of the two sides had an argument. During this period, the private car suddenly drove, and the van driver prevented him from lying on the private car. With the head covered, the private car continued to drive, driving the van driver for nearly a hundred meters. After that, the van driver fell to the ground and the private car left.

About 10 minutes later, the private car involved was found to have crashed into a bus on Yuen Long Highway and turned over. The female driver of the private car did not know what to do.

Police said that it was reported that a light goods vehicle was parked at the junction of Yuen Long Yuk Yuk Road and Tai Tong Road at 8:37 last night, and a private car was suspected of crashing into the light goods vehicle from behind.

When the private car attempted to escape, a 23-year-old male truck driver surnamed Zhang lay on the front of the private car and tried to stop it. However, the private car continued to drive about 50 meters and Zhang Nan gave up.

The private car fled towards Yuen Long Tiyu Road.

The private car then drove along Yuen Long Highway in the upward direction. When it reached the roundabout of Yuen Long Highway near Pok Oi Hospital, it was suspected of crashing into a bus from behind and overturning.

The private car involved was reported to have turned against the car on Yuen Long Highway.

Rescuers arrived at the scene and found no driver in the private car.

After preliminary investigation, the case was listed as "Someone was injured in a traffic accident-left after the accident." No one has been arrested yet.

The driver of the light truck suffered injuries to his belly and hand and was consciously sent to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment. The 44-year-old female captain of the bus that was hit was unharmed.

The police expressed great concern about the case and immediately handed it over to the Special Investigation Team of the Transport Department of the New Territories North Region for active follow-up.
