Today, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced that 98 deaths and 3,071 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in its daily report that the total number of injuries in Lebanon rose to 315340 cases, while the total number of deaths reached 3495 cases.
In addition, the head of the Lebanese caretaker government, Hassan Diab, announced today that the precautionary measures will continue in the country after the end of the general closure scheduled for next Sunday.
Diab explained during the meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Coronavirus that “the implementation of precautionary measures continues and it is not possible to return to the situation before the general closure,” noting that “the closure was aimed at preventing collapse, especially since the number of infections in intensive care reached higher than the capacity of the Lebanese health sector. To deal with it and contain it. ”
Diab indicated that many Lebanese do not adhere to the minimum conditions for health protection.
