Handicrafts made of wood, beads and threads presented by six people with Down syndrome in the As-Suwayda governorate, as part of an exhibition organized by the I Can initiative.
The exhibition, which was held in cooperation with the Church of Saint George of the Greek Orthodox Church, included accessories and decorative tools in order to develop the talents of people with Down syndrome and their involvement in society.
The responsible for the “I Can” initiative, the educator Hayat Munther, stated that the exhibition is part of an ongoing activity to show the capabilities of the injured, develop their skills and enhance their presence among members of society.

It is noteworthy that the Ana Cana Group is organizing an initiative launched by the educator Hayat Munther in the town of Qarya targeting a group of young people with Down syndrome who are currently William Abu Daqqa, Swar Shuqir, Fida Zaitouni, Raed Shalhoub, Thaer Hudayfah and Hassan Shukair, with the aim of integrating them into society by involving them in the manufacture of accessories and marketing them within the local market.
