"
Plastering devices
" will not be enough: the LREM deputy Pierre Person urges, in an interview with the
Journal du Dimanche
, a "
global and massive effort
" in terms of equal opportunities, calling among other things to urgently relaunch the site of the universal activity income.

A few weeks before the presentation of the executive's equal opportunities plan, the elected representative of Paris sends a letter to Prime Minister Jean Castex, co-signed with 14 other Macronist deputies, in which they list 13 proposals which should make it possible to reduce inequalities by the end of the five-year term.
"
The government is acting like nowhere else, by taking charge of short-time work and business losses
," he underlines in the columns of the JDD.
“
But we must not abandon the radicalism that brought us to power: it is in fact a question of scale.
"
“
Against house arrest, birth determinisms, non-recourse to rights and aid, adhesive plasters are not enough
,” adds the ex-number 2 of LREM, from the ranks of the PS.
“
We cannot abandon the structural reforms on which we were elected.
"
Among the 13 proposals, include the opening of 40,000 nurseries, a reform of the school sectorization map, a review of the system for awarding student grants, or a simplification of social assistance.
Regarding the universal income from activity, the signatories of the letter to Jean Castex believe that "
the account is not there
" and alert on the need to "
really launch this project
".
"
Its automaticity would make it possible to fight against a social scourge: the non-recourse to rights
", they underline.
Conversely, they distance themselves from the idea put forward by the general delegate of LREM Stanislas Guerini concerning a zero rate loan of 10,000 euros for 18-25 year olds.
A "
loan system
" would result in worsening inequalities "
between those who are forced to use it and those who can do without it
", they warn.
