Criminal Security officers in Hama governorate arrested four people for promoting and consuming narcotic pills.
The Ministry of Interior clarified in a statement that Sanaa received a copy of it today that after receiving information from the Salamiya District Directorate in Hama countryside, several people promoted and consumed narcotic substances, and through follow-up and investigation, the members of the Criminal Security Center in Salamiyah were able to arrest them and confiscate a number of Captagon pills and a piece of hashish The drug is in their possession.
And the ministry's statement stated: By examining their status, a sentencing warrant containing life imprisonment for the offense of promoting and consuming narcotic substances was found against one of the arrested, and a request for another right includes fifteen years imprisonment for the crime of the described theft. Another person was also found against a warrant containing imprisonment for the crime of stealing army equipment and the investigation. With them, they confessed that they were intent on promoting and consuming narcotic substances in conjunction with a number of people who were hidden, and that they are the ones who are meant by the aforementioned requests and provisions.
The Ministry indicated that the necessary action was taken against them to present them to the duly competent court.
