National Bureau for Land Defense: The occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands

The National Bureau for Land Defense and Resistance to Settlement of the Palestine Liberation Organization affirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands and demolish their homes and facilities to impose new facts on the ground that eliminate any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The office stated in its weekly report issued today on its website that the occupation authorities announced a plan to establish 150 new settlement units on the lands of the towns of Issawiya and Shuafat in occupied Jerusalem.

The report indicated that the occupation continues the crimes of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement against the Palestinians, as its forces demolished dozens of homes and facilities in Khirbet Homsa al-Fawqa in the northern valleys in the West Bank, pointing out that the occupation forces carried out large-scale demolitions in Khirbet last November to expand the settlement operations.

The report indicated that the occupation forces bulldozed areas of Palestinian lands in the town of Deir Nizam in Ramallah and in the village of Jabara in Tulkarm to establish new outposts.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces demolished 40 shops in Jenin, two houses in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood and the town of Anata in occupied Jerusalem, and four houses in the towns of Beit Awa and Khallat al-Gharbi in Hebron, and they received notices of demolishing the Issawiya club in Jerusalem and several homes and agricultural facilities in the towns of Masafer Yatta in Hebron and Battir. In Bethlehem, Asira North, and Sebastia in Nablus.

The report indicated that settlers continue their attacks on West Bank cities and towns with the protection of the occupation forces, as they seized swaths of Palestinian lands in the towns of Idhna and Tarqumiya in Hebron and Battir in Bethlehem and Bidya in Salfit and stormed the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus, and the archaeological site of Khan al-Laban, south of the city and town A guard in Salfit attacked the homes and properties of the Palestinians and the Romanian Orthodox Church in the Al-Misrara area in the center of occupied Jerusalem, and broke the lock of a door and surveillance cameras.
