The arrest of the policeman who shot dead his wife Diana Raz yesterday in the town of Na'ala in Benjamin will be extended tonight (Saturday) at the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion.
The suspected policeman did not attend the hearing, which will be held in his absence as he was staying next to a verified corona patient.
The policeman's parents arrived at the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion ahead of the hearing to assess his arrest, as did Diana's relatives.
One of Diana's family members said the children are with her sister.
The eldest daughter said she and the other children were in their rooms at the time of the shooting.
Their daughter said to one of the uncles, who was trying to broadcast business to them as usual: "Why are you not sad, mother is dead."
The girl said that after the shootings they went downstairs and saw the mother lying on the ground.
Diana's relative: "There is no animosity between the families. We loved him so much that we do not understand what happened there. How does a person pull out a weapon and shoot? It is not perceived. The children are in a difficult mental state."
