The Uruguayan soccer player Santiago «Morro» García was found dead this Saturday in his apartment in the city of Mendoza, Argentina, the Club Godoy Cruz, the team in which he played, confirmed on his official Twitter account.
«You were a hero, you were a scorer, you were a friend and family, you were everything a person wants to be when he catches a ball, today you have to be eternal and infinite for all of us.

Prosecutor Claudia Ríos, who carried out the visual inspection in the soccer player's department, confirmed to the press outside the building that the body found is that of García.
He was found lying on a bed, with a gun at his side and shot.
The reasons for his death remain under investigation, Ríos said.
The National Club of Uruguay, the team in which "Morro" made his debut, also regretted his death with a heartfelt message on his Twitter account: "There are no words or consolation.
Immense grief for the death of one of the most beloved players and fans in the recent history of Nacional.
Conmebol and the Argentine Football Association also mourned the death of the Uruguayan forward and sent their condolences to family and friends.
