A joint team of scientists from Germany and Madagascar discovered a new species of chameleon, no bigger than a sunflower seed, while they were on an expedition in northern Madagascar.
Sky News quoted the team of scientists as saying that the length of the newly discovered male chameleon is not more than 13.5 millimeters, which makes it the smallest animal among all the known species of the 11,500 reptiles, while the female chameleon is much larger than the male and has a total length of 29 Millimeter.
