The planet of forms

'Relative Dimensions' (2020), by Regina Giménez, currently in the exhibition I will go to the sun at the Patio Herreriano Museum (Valladolid).

Anyone who has been watching the clouds go by will know how wide abstract thinking can be.

There are no laws of logic there: nothing is big or small, there is no top or bottom, there are no sharp edges or sharp contrasts.

Everything seems

and colorless.

A provisional stability in the midst of a dynamic equilibrium that has always been a window with views for art.

The abstraction was in the avant-garde dreams of changing everything, of seeking a new reality other than the natural one.
