At 6 o'clock in the evening on Sunday (7th), a security guard at No. 8 Fai Ming Road, Fanling made a report at the Yong Shing Court Service Facilities Building, stating that no one answered the door of the unit on the site and suspected that someone had fainted inside.
Rescuers rushed into the house and found a pair of mothers and daughters. Among them, Yan (44 years old) daughter was confirmed dead at the scene; Li (79 years old) mother had no superficial injuries and was consciously sent to North District Hospital for examination.
It is understood that there is a housing for the elderly at the above address; the wife of Lei needs long-term care from her daughter or others due to a sickness problem. When the incident happened, the security guard happened to pat the door to understand, but no one answered the door.
After preliminary investigation, the police ruled out homicide and suicide, and temporarily classified the case as a "corpse found" process. Later, the deceased in the case will undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
