Citizen service centers in Damascus governorate have provided about 72,000 services since the beginning of this year and until now, while working to develop and expand the services provided by the centers to facilitate the matters of the auditors and speed up the completion of their transactions.
The centers' services included about 37.4 thousand civil registry transactions, 11 thousand non-employee transactions, and 9 thousand civil records, while the number of real estate registration applications reached 3196 and lease contracts reached 2664, while external documents amounted to 1680 and other transactions provided by the centers.
Director of Citizen Service Centers in Damascus Governorate, Eng. Luay Alloush, stated in a statement to the representative of SANA today that the Electronic Citizen Service Center provided 287 services that delivered 150 transactions to citizens by mail and 137 through the centers, stressing that the governorate is working to develop and expand the services provided by citizen service centers to facilitate matters Auditors and speed up completion of their transactions.
Alloush stated that the Electronic Citizen Service Center is a “pioneering step” in simplifying procedures, easing burdens, and saving time and effort for the citizen, as he can request the transaction electronically from anywhere and at any time by entering the center’s website and creating an account and user name to create the required transaction to be transmitted electronically to the Syrian company. For electronic payments to pay the amount required to complete the transaction, then to the electronic services center for implementation, after which the document is received by mail or personally to the nearest center of the governorate to obtain it immediately without the need to wait.
The fifteen citizen service centers that provided more than 617 thousand services during the past year are distributed in Yusef al-Azma Square in the governorate building that includes the main center and in the old city of Damascus in the office of the ward and in the services departments of Kafr Sousa, Mezzeh and al-Muhajirin in the White Bridge, the country, the channels, the square, the lobby of the Damascus Finance Directorate and the temporary record In Al-Sabaa Bahrat, the burial office of the dead in Bab Al-Musalla, the Directorate of Implementation of Legislative Decree 66 in Mezze, the Electronic Services Center, in addition to the new Al-Sham Center, which is being rehabilitated to expand its expansion and Jund Al-Assad area.
