A police officer from a police station in Modi'in was arrested on Friday on suspicion of threatening his wife.
This, hours after the murder in Na'ala, where Amir Raz, a police officer from the same police station, allegedly shot his wife Diana Raz to death.
Yesterday (Saturday), the suspect was brought before the Magistrate's Court in Rishon Lezion, where it was decided that he would be released under full house arrest under supervision for four days, and he was also given a distance of 500 meters from his wife.
Justice of the Peace Zohar Segal Divon criticized the detention at the hearing and said that.
"Although his conduct is morally reprehensible, it does not constitute a criminal offense and there was no reason to leave the suspect in custody."
