Director of the Russian Gamalia Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology Research, Alexander Ginsburg, confirmed that there are no contraindications to the use of the "Sputnik V" vaccine for allergy sufferers, provided that this allergy is not in an acute stage.
"If the person does not have severe allergies, then he must be vaccinated and there are no contraindications," Ginsburg said in a television interview, indicating the need to "stay away from the allergens before and after vaccination."
Russia has started a campaign to vaccinate its citizens with anti-Coronavirus vaccines since mid-December.
In addition, the head of the Russian Fund for Direct Investments, Kirill Dmitriev, stated that 25 countries are expected to ratify the use of the "Sputnik V" vaccine in the near future.
"By the end of next week, we expect 25 countries to ratify our vaccine," Dmitriev said.
The global medical journal The Lancet recently announced that the Russian vaccine against the Corona virus, "Sputnik V", is 91.6 percent effective, explaining that it is highly safe and effective and provides full protection against all severe cases of Covid 19.
