From Monday 8 February, one year after the formalization of Patrick Zaki's arrest in Egypt, in Bologna and in numerous Italian municipalities, ten winning posters of 'Free Patrick Zaki, prisoner of conscience', special edition of the international social communication competition will be posted 'Poster For Tomorrow'.
The works were unveiled this morning during a live web.
These are the posters of Moises Romero (Mexico), Zlatan Dryanov (Bulgaria), Christopher Scott (Ecuador), Rashid Rahnama (Iran), Andrea Rodrigues and Rita Reis (Portugal) and the Italians Mattia Pedrazzoli, Massimo Dezzani, Arianna Posanzini and Michele Carofiglio.
They were selected by an international jury from over 900 works from creatives from nearly 50 countries around the world.
Objective of the contest, conceived by Amnesty International Italia, from the festival Conversations on the future of the association We spread ideas of value, in collaboration with the Human Rights Festival of Milan and the Article 21 Association, with the patronage of the University and the Municipality of Bologna, is to unite, with the language of art and creativity, to the women and men in the world who demand the immediate release of Patrick Zaki.
The posters will be posted primarily in Bologna, the city where Patrick lived and attended the Master Gemma and which gave him honorary citizenship.
Then in other cities, including Bari, Brindisi, Lecce, Naples, Palermo, Taranto and Turin.
It will also be shown by Usigrai, Fnsi, LegaCoop Puglia, the musical marathon Voices x Zaki - Voices for freedom (which will always be held on February 8).
