The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 534 new infections and 47 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, stated in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in Egypt has so far reached 169640, and the total deaths reached 9651 cases.
Mujahid indicated that 321 recovered from infection with the virus were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 132,375 people until today.
