Damascus-SANA today announced the winners in the fields of poetry, story and arts in the Imam Khomeini Creativity Competition

Today, I announced the names of the winners in the fields of poetry, story and arts, in the Imam Khomeini Literary and Artistic Creativity Competition for its third session for the year 2020, titled “With resistance, the deal of the century will not pass”.

The competition, whose results were announced by the Iranian Cultural Chancellery in Damascus, was held in cooperation with the Federation of Arab Writers and Fine Artists, during which the poets Salah Ramadan and Iyad Sarhan shared the first place, and the poets Ibrahim Jawad and Abdul Rahman Naji came in second place, while the poet Mowafak Nader came third.

In the short story, the storyteller, Safwan Ibrahim and Rima Ibrahim, won the first place, while the storyteller Muhammad al-Hafri won the third place, while Nizar Tarboush won the third place, in addition to special appreciation for Leila Saab, the storyteller.

In the artistic branch, the artists Abeer Al-Awdat and Fatima Al-Khatib won the first place, and Siham Muhaisen and Muhammad Khalili came in the second place, while Nour Al-Imam and Riham Tarragji came third.

The artist, Abeer Al-Awdat, explained that her participation came with an oil painting of a princess that symbolizes occupied Palestine and calls for hope for her return, expressing her happiness with this victory.

The storyteller, Muhammad al-Hafri, stated that his participation came with a story entitled The Return, which depicts the Syrian’s attachment to the soil of his country and his defense of it despite all the circumstances of the terrorist war on our country.

Poet Salah Ramadan indicated that he shared a poem describing the heroics of the Lebanese National Resistance and its defense of the land and its victory for the oppressed.
