London - Sana

British scientists have developed artificial intelligence technology by using wireless signals to detect changes in heart rate and to know how a sick person feels.

According to the British Daily Mail newspaper, scientists at Queen Mary University of London explained that the new technology, which was called the neural network, aims to understand the changes that occur in human feelings as a result of a person's exposure to different situations in his life from sadness to joy or anger, indicating that the artificial neural networks that Created by computer scientists consisting of different nodes equivalent to biological neurons that process and pass signals with the ability to change the network while it is being used.

The scientists pointed out that they sent radio waves, like those usually sent by radar and a Wi-Fi network to the participants, then the antenna measured the changes in the signal as it bounced back and analyzed the changes in the waves based on the precise movements that the participants made while viewing the different sections, which allowed the neural network to identify Patterns in the participant's heart and respiratory rate according to the emotions evoked.

Once the data were collected from all the participants, it was connected to the neural network to see if it could determine the video that is being watched successfully based on the slight changes, as the network achieved a success rate of 71 percent in correctly identifying the participants' feelings.

Such research is often used in psychological and neurological experiments in addition to its significant impact on health management, while scientists hope that their research will be able to help medical professionals better understand the feelings of their patients that may be hidden.
