Despite having won the first international title with the Halcón de Varela, the relationship between Crespo and José Lemme, the president of Defense and Justice, never became a romance.

You can see that Varela expected the departure of Crespo.

The former goalscorer of River, Milan and the Argentine National Team would already have his contract arranged to replace the former coach of San Pablo, Fernando Diniz, and the only thing left to do was close his departure from Defense and Justice.

Although after listening to the president, in Varela they would not do much to retain him.

It takes a lot of courage and humility to do it, and this group of players delivered everything trusting us.
