In Merlo, insecurity does not give truce.

n less than four hours

, two very violent events shocked neighbors.

One of the victims was

stabbed to death in front of his sister

by two criminals during a robbery at his home, which is just over 500 meters from the Morón DDI.

Another entry, to a young man who came from work, ended in

tragedy

: his 62-year-old mother died during the assault.

Everything happened at dawn this Monday.

It had been a few minutes after 2.30, and

Gabriel's

sister

Omar Medina (45) was

taking a shower at her house in Curie in 1900, when she heard that the man, who works in a pizzeria in the area, had arrived.

Suddenly the woman heard screams.

"Give me the money,"

said an unknown voice, according to sources from the investigation told

Two criminals had intercepted Medina when he was entering his home, which is just over five blocks from the Morón DDI headquarters:

they were waiting for him

.

A man was killed in a robbery at his Curie home in 1900.

Once inside the property, the two criminals, whose

faces were covered

, teased Medina's sister as soon as the woman came out of the shower to see what was happening.

They mistreated them,

asked for "money, money

", they turned everything in the woman's room, who could not testify because she is still in shock and, finally, they

killed Medina in front of her sister

with at least five stab wounds.

Then they

fled on foot

.

The case is being investigated by UFI No. 8 of Morón, led by Fernando Siquier Rodríguez, who ordered the survey of the security cameras in the area and classified the incident as "

robbery with a weapon and homicide criminis causa

."

The fact was echoed by councilor Maximiliano Dodera, on social networks and complained to the mayor Gustavo Menéndez.

Regarding the case, the sources highlighted two details: that the murderers were waiting for Medina and that they used their faces covered.

That gives them a hint that it

may not have been a broadcast robbery

," they said, and alluded to the suspicion that someone may have given them the information to thieves that he had money in his house, or a

Carmen was 61 years old

About 44 blocks

from where Medina was killed, a few meters from the Plaza Bicentenario and around 6.30 am, a worker from the Massalin Particulares tobacco company arrived at his house in Koch at 200, in his Chevrolet Aveo.

There the

tragedy would

begin

Four armed criminals,

hooded and wearing gloves

, got out of another car and intercepted it while it was stowing the Aveo.

They forced him into his house: his parents were there, according to sources from the investigation.

Carmen López de Vargas (61) was

tied up with her husband

in the marriage room.

Their son was taken to another part of the house:

they beat him

.

She died and they are investigating the causes of death.

“The boy

heard how his parents were mistreated

but, in principle, they were not beaten and the father is still in shock.

wait for the autopsy to determine how the woman died

The criminals

took everything they could steal from the

Vargas'

house

and took the Chevrolet Aveo, which would have appeared in the town of Libertad this Monday afternoon, according to other sources consulted.

The 

outrage

among the neighbors over the death of Carmen was noted on social networks.

They claim that

the ambulance never arrived

.

The case is also being investigated by the prosecutor Siquier Rodríguez, of the UFI No. 8 of Morón, who provisionally classified the event as

“homicide on the occasion of robbery”

, although if the autopsy determines that Carmen did not die of natural causes, it will be classified as “ homicide criminis cause and aggravated robbery ".

Buenos Aires Security Minister Sergio Berni had declared this Sunday that his district is "on the right track to resolve the insecurity."
