With the participation of more than a hundred national industrial companies that include the food, textile and chemical industrial sectors, the activities of the monthly shopping festival, Made in Syria, in its 113th session, were launched this evening in Al-Bassel Hall in Al-Mazra'a Sports City in Sweida, which is organized by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in cooperation with the Sweida Chamber of Industry and Trade.
The director of the festival in the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside, Muhammad Al-Omar, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the festival aims to provide a variety of goods and products and to provide an integrated consumer basket for the family in one place at reduced prices through discounts and offers offered by the participating companies, which reach between 15 and 35 percent and offer Great prizes for visitors.
For his part, the Vice President of the Sweida Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Nabih Bakri, indicated that a number of industrial and commercial activities will participate in the festival from the As-Suwayda governorate, along with companies and producers from all governorates, in a way that contributes to supporting and encouraging the national industry of Syria in a way that meets the citizen's need at reasonable and competitive prices.
During his tour of the festival pavilions during the inauguration, the Governor of Sweida, Hammam Sadiq Debiat, indicated that the festival encourages competition between companies from all governorates to provide the best local products in terms of quality and price.
The festival's activities continue daily from ten in the morning until nine in the evening until the 16th of this month.
The opening of the festival was attended by Fouzat Choucair, Secretary of the Sweida branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party.
