Ronny is an investigative journalist.
He is an adjunct professor at the Craig Newmark School of Journalism at the City University of New York (CUNY), and a collaborator of the Latin American Center for Journalistic Investigation (CLIP).
He was a fellow of the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford University.
His work has been recognized with different awards, including the Emmy for the best story in Spanish (2018), the Ortega y Gasset Award (2017), the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, and the Global Shining Light Award (2015) that awarded by the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN).
He was also part of the team that won the 2019 Gabo Award for the documentary
America First: The Legacy of a Migration Raid
.
He was head of the Data Unit of Univision Noticias Digital and worked as an editor with the Organized Crime & Corruption Reporting Network (OCCRP).
He began his career in the Costa Rican newspaper La Nación.

Andrea is a bilingual journalist with 20 years of experience.
In addition to being part of T Verifica, she is a senior editor for Latino USA.
She spent little more than half of her career at Dow Jones, where she worked as an editor in the division of The Wall Street Journal Americas.
For several years he was also a New York-area correspondent for El Comercio, the leading daily in his native Peru.
After a year as an editor for the Bloomberg News Spanish-language service, she entered the world of podcasts.
She was the data verifier for Radio Ambulante for more than two years, as well as the news podcast for Radio Ambulante Studios El Hilo.
Andrea also works as a freelance fact checker and contributes regularly to This American Life, Columbia Journalism Review, and Vox Media.
In the 2020 elections, she joined ProPublica as a verifier in the Electionland project.
She is also an adjunct professor at CUNY's Craig Newmark School of Journalism, where she teaches investigation to the bilingual class.
