A Louisiana woman sought medical treatment after mistakenly using Gorilla Glue spray glue instead of hairspray.

Tessica Brown's plight went viral in early February.

At the time, the woman revealed that her hair had been glued for a whole month, in the same hairstyle, since she replaced her usual Got2b Glued spray with Gorilla Glue, an industrial strength glue, when the first one ran out.

In another video they are seen spreading shampoo abundantly.

However, the product failed to penetrate her rock hard hair.

CNN reached out to Brown for comment.

Gorilla Glue is a 100% waterproof glue that is generally used to fix bathroom tiles, hardwood floors, and decks.

According to the website the product can be removed with acetone or isopropyl alcohol.

When the company learned of Brown's problem, it contacted her on Twitter.

«Hello, we are sorry to hear about your experience!

We do not recommend using our products on hair as they are considered permanent, ”the message stated.

"You can try soaking the affected area in warm soapy water or applying rubbing alcohol to the area," he added.

On Saturday, Brown, known on Instagram as @im_d_ollady, shared photos to update her followers.

She posted a series of images of herself entering St. Bernard Parish Hospital in Chalmette, Louisiana, in an effort to remove the product.

"This is really going to be a long process," he wrote at the bottom of a photo that showed some acetone and sterile water.
