2021-02-08T21:25:54.194Z

REPORT OF THE HEARING - Éva Loubrieu accuses the mayor of Draveil and his former deputy of "rape" and "sexual assault", which they firmly deny.

Almost ten long hours at the stand, to the point that she ended up asking to be seated at 6.30 p.m., and broke down at 9 p.m., causing yet another recess.

This Monday, February 8, Éva Loubrieu, one of the two women who accuse the mayor of Draveil (Essonne) Georges Tron and his ex-deputy Brigitte Gruel of "rape" and "sexual assault", spent the day telling the Paris Assize Court his version of the facts.

Born in 1974, Éva Loubrieu obtained a literary baccalaureate in 1993, looked for her way for a few years then turned to bookbinding and gilding.

She married, gave birth to a son, then separated and returned to her parents, very fragile.

“I was looking for a workshop to practice, a place to rebuild myself

,

she recalls.

A colleague of his mother then spoke to him about Georges Tron, considered

"very accessible"

and who could perhaps help him in his project.

After a first meeting during a parliamentary office come invitations to an exhibition, to a book fair, to the restaurant.

It was during one of these dinners that Eva Loubrieu

"felt

Georges Tron's

foot

go up on [his] leg", she

recounts while the accused shakes his head - which he will do to numerous repetitions during the complainant's hearing.

According to her, then followed foot massages, kisses, digital penetrations, parallel to her hiring and then to her promotion to town hall.

Questioned by the president of the court, Éva Loubrieu concedes that

"at the beginning"

, she was

"in a perspective of an emotional relationship"

with Georges Tron.

But that the

"ritual"

of the latter -

"to make me wait in an armchair, to tidy up his desk to the millimeter, to lock the door with the key, to sit down next to me, to make me close my eyes, to take my foot, back up ... ”-

and the

“ lack of reciprocity ”

quickly led her to wonder.

"I could see that there was something that was not in the register of a classic emotional relationship."

"Operating mode"

It was in the spring of 2007, when she met Christelle S., another town hall employee who told her that she was also having an affair with the mayor, that the click occurred.

“We realize that there is an identical process, an operating mode, with a terrifying similarity.

I had the impression that it was a

cut

-and-paste, ”

explains Éva Loubrieu, who then decides to end her relationship with the chosen one and tells him about it.

But after

"three weeks of respite"

, Georges Tron would have resumed his

"practices"

, now involving his assistant to Culture Brigitte Gruel.

The complainant confides:

“Things go on like this.

I do not react because it is too late, because as and when my being disintegrates, I no longer know how to act.

Over time, my free will disappears, and the only thing I remember is that feeling of being their sex object.

I am not abused, but I am the object they use for their pleasure, exclusively.

"

To the president who tries to know if she was consenting or not during these

"sessions"

of triolism, Éva Loubrieu answers:

"I was in a total, absolute submission, I was their thing, subject to their pleasure and their good. want to.

I was not active, they put my head there, my hand there. "

At the time, did she qualify these acts of rape and sexual assault, asks the magistrate?

"I was locked in a bubble, it was only when I came out that things became clearer to me

.

"

And what about these messages sent to Georges Tron:

"I think of you ...", "I embrace you and more ...", "I am at your entire disposal ..."

?

“I preferred to answer what he wanted to hear.

I acceded to all his requests, ”

defends the forty-

something

.

Ten years of "hell"

For their part, Georges Tron and Brigitte Gruel affirm staunchly that nothing has ever happened either between them, or with Éva Loubrieu, Virginie Ettel or other employees of the town hall.

The politician only admits having had an affair with a certain Sylvie D., now deputy mayor of Draveil.

In its decision of first instance, in November 2018, the Assize Court of Seine-Saint-Denis nevertheless retained the existence of a

“general hypersexualized climate between Georges Tron and several of his collaborators”,

while acquitting the accused acts of “rape” and “sexual assault” for which they were accused.

"The proof of a situation of constraint has never been reported,"

said the court in its motivation sheet.

On Wednesday, it will be the turn of the nine jurors and the three judges constituting the Assize Court of Paris to rule.

What does Éva Loubrieu expect from this verdict?

“Let justice do its job.

I want this to end, I reached the limits of what was possible.

It was a double penalty, to have undergone all that and then the hell of these ten years

[of procedure, Editor's note]

.

Everything has been done to make us dirty, to discredit us.

I absolutely must turn this page, try to rebuild myself

, ”she slips with emotion.

A statement which strangely echoes that of Georges Tron on the first day of the trial:

“It's been ten years that this has lasted, ten years that I am dragged in the mud.

I absolutely can't take it anymore ”

.

The mayor of Draveil, who invokes a political plot hatched against him, faces twenty years of criminal imprisonment, just like his co-accused.
