At about 1:46 am on Wednesday (10th), the police received a report from a male resident in Ho Choi Mansion, Nos. 42-58A On Hing Street, saying that he heard two loud noises and suspected that someone had fallen from a height.
Rescuers arrived at the report and found a man and a woman lying on the platform. The man was confirmed dead at the scene; the woman was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating the incident.
