The government will announce a new "Budget" on the 24th of this month, and the Public Housing Federation will go to the government headquarters to petition this morning (9th).

The Federation urges the government to increase transitional housing, advocate the introduction of tax concessions, encourage owners to participate in the social housing sharing plan, and at the same time can purchase some industrial buildings that are conditionally converted to transitional housing to increase supply.

The Public Housing Council went to the Government Headquarters to file a petition this morning to express the budget expectations.

The Public Housing Association stated that it hopes that this year's "Budget" will continue to pay one month's rent for public housing tenants and include "well-off public housing tenants" to benefit more people.

For the earlier rent relief for eligible government tenants from 50% to 75%, the Public Housing Council recommends that the government continue to extend the measures for more than half a year, so that commercial tenants can overcome their difficulties.

It is recommended to increase electricity subsidy to subdivided households

In addition, the two power companies will launch an electricity fee subsidy scheme for subdivided households without registered residential users.

The Federation believes that in order to further support the basic-level households with subdivided houses, it is recommended that the government can increase subsidies for electricity charges to subdivided households, such as matching subsidies with power companies.

In order to increase the supply of transitional housing, the Federation proposes that apart from building more social housing, tax incentives can also be introduced, such as reduction or exemption of property tax, rates, or tax deductions to encourage owners to participate Social housing sharing program of non-governmental organizations.

As for the conversion of industrial buildings into transitional housing, the Federation recommends that the government allocate funds to purchase some industrial buildings that are conditionally converted to transitional housing to increase supply, or relax the requirements for the conversion of entire industrial buildings and allow some floors to be converted.

Advocate the distribution of consumer vouchers

The Federation also pointed out that the current economy is sluggish, and it is recommended that the government can distribute 6,000 yuan consumer coupons or consumer cards to each citizen, and a monthly spending limit can be set.
