The lifeless body of the 20-year-old was discovered this Tuesday afternoon in his student room on the campus of the University of Paris

Lively emotion on the campus of Paris-Nanterre University.

This Tuesday afternoon, the lifeless body of Guillaume T., a 20-year-old student, was discovered in his university room.

According to the first findings, the young man, who was repeating his first year of license in economic and social administration (AES), hanged himself in his student room.

The open investigation does not yet say if the young man left a letter to explain his gesture.

"Everyone is in shock here, we whisper in the entourage of the president of the university.

But it is still unknown what prompted this student to end his life.

"

He hadn't asked for the shrinks from college

The student, described as a supporter of the UNEF, had, according to our information, not manifested any ill-being with the psychologists made available by the administration of the university.

However, he appeared isolated, his family not residing in the Paris region.

This student is not, however, a complete stranger.

Because it is the young man who, three weeks ago, had accused the elected Parisian (PCF) Maxime Cochard of rape.

No link has yet been established between these accusations and the fatal gesture made by the student.

On January 21, Guillaume T., alias Prunille on the social network Twitter, posted an accusatory message against Maxime Cochard.

“After more than two years, without knowing how to put words to what happened to me, I realize that I was raped by Maxime Cochard, counselor of Paris and his companion […] in October 2018 when I 'was only 18 years old and particularly vulnerable'.

After more than 2 years without knowing how to put the words on what happened to me, I realize that I was raped by Maxime Cochard, counselor of Paris and his companion Victor Laby in October 2018 while I was only 18 years old and particularly vulnerable.

A message that had the effect of a bomb in the microcosm of the town hall of Paris.

Following these accusations, the PCF of the capital had in particular "asked Maxime Cochard to withdraw from the Council of Paris".

Maxime Cochard categorically denies rape accusations

For his part, the elected Parisian has always denied the facts alleged by the student.

"Given the seriousness of such remarks and their slanderous nature, I instructed my lawyer to immediately initiate legal action for defamation," he reacted hotly.

If Maxime Cochard recognizes sexual relations with Guillaume T., “it was a consensual act, between adults.

There was no violence, no threats, no constraints or surprises ”, insisted, on January 23, his lawyer Fanny Colin.

She was unreachable this Tuesday evening.

Contacted, Maxime Cochard did not respond to our requests.

Guillaume T. told us about his "vulnerability"

When he spoke to us three weeks ago, Guillaume T. confided in the context of the facts he denounced and insisted on his "vulnerability".

“My parents left when I was in senior year.

I lived alone with my older sister in Metz with whom I had a conflicting relationship, ”recounted the student.

From the Parisian period when he met Maxime Cochard and his companion before starting a three-way relationship, Guillaume T. said: “I was a student.

I was very lonely.

I was discovering my homosexuality.

I was in search of myself.

I did not have money.

I slept with them.

There was a form of hold.

They had moral influence over me.

They were important people to me.

I was in a vulnerable position.
