Le Mans has just joined the list.
“There was still no selective collection in the historic heart of the Cité Plantagenêt
(name of a royal house from the counts of Anjou and Maine, editor's note)
because the streets are very narrow and the collection by traditional means was not possible
, says Stéphane Le Foll (PS), mayor of the city.
This service, which has just been voted on by the community council, will be operational at the start of the school year because we have to find the service provider and the horses suitable for this task.
The streets are steep in places, Percherons and a small cart should do the trick. ”
