Today, Iraqi forces arrested 24 ISIS terrorists in Anbar Province, western Iraq.
Alsumaria News quoted the Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Interior as saying in a statement today that, “By following up the elements of the terrorist ISIS gangs and their movements and intensifying the intelligence effort, the agency's detachments represented by the Anbar Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate were able to arrest 24 terrorists wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 terrorism for belonging to gangs ISIS and their work within the so-called Anbar and Fallujah sectors.
The statement added that "the arrest was carried out in accordance with warrants and judicial orders in separate areas of the governorate," noting that "their statements were recorded in recognition and legal measures were taken against them."
Yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested 17 ISIS terrorists in Nineveh Governorate and three others in Kirkuk and Salah al-Din.
