A huge water park that will cover an area of 40 dunams will be established in about three years in Ashdod.
The park will also have an amusement park, a karting complex and a huge adventure park built to heights.

The water park will have wave pools, three extreme and regular slide towers, a raging river, tubing and more.
The park will be built with an investment of about seventy million shekels and its operation will be in the BOT model, for a period of 20-25 years.
Alongside the water park, a challenging multi-story facility with facilities of varying degrees of difficulty will also be built.
The karting complex will also be set up in the same park next to a huge amusement park with facilities that are especially suitable for children.
Ashdod Mayor Dr. Yehiel Lasri commented on the planned construction of the water park, "I am pleased to announce that this impressive and innovative project is part of a very large complex to be built in the city - Lachish Park district at the northern entrance of the city, where 2,700 housing units for young people will be built. "A 20,000-seat football stadium, a 5,000-seat basketball hall and an Olympic pool, a new district that will have a significant impact on the future of the city for the city's residents and especially for the young people of Ashdod."
