The Russian Cosmos Space Corporation announced that the Progress MS 15 cargo vehicle has separated from the International Space Station and will soon be out of orbit.
A representative of the media office of the Ross Cosmos Foundation said in a statement to Novosti news agency, "The vehicle's engines worked to suppress movement out of orbit."
According to experts, the vehicle entered the Earth's atmosphere and burned out, and the remaining parts of it will fall into an unmanageable area in the Pacific Ocean.
It should be noted that Progress cargo vehicles are used to transport goods to astronauts on the International Space Station, such as fuel, oxygen, air and drinking water, and by means of which the process of adjusting the height of the International Station's orbit and preventing collision with space waste.
It is noteworthy that the Progress MS 15 cargo vehicle had docked with the International Space Station last July, before it separated from it today.
