The Directorates of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Rural Damascus and Tartous organized rationing controls against petrol stations, diesel selling cars, violating commercial activities and bakeries, as part of their continuous work to control and monitor markets.

In the countryside of Damascus, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection seized a fuel station in Shebaa that charges an increase in prices, and three stations in Akbar, Tawani and Babila were closed for violations of kilometer shortage, fuel trade and an increase in prices.

In a statement that SANA received a copy of, the Directorate stated that it had seized five cars for the sale of diesel for violations of removing lead seals and the lack of data, and had organized seizures against six bakeries in the suburbs of Qudsaya, Adra, Douma, Kafr Batna and Jaramana for violations of weight loss, selling at an extra price, and bad bread making and trading.

In Tartous, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized 17 supply controls that affected various commercial and industrial activities, fuel stations and bakeries.

Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Tartous, Yusef Hassan, stated in a statement to SANA that the bakery seizures included two bakeries in Ras Al-Khashofah in the Safita area for having committed a violation of selling touty bread at an extra price, and a fuel station that had five barrels of diesel with 1000 liters inside and four barrels of petrol inside about 800 liters in Mashta Al-Helou area, explaining that The necessary control of the station has been regulated by violating the trade in diesel and gasoline for other than the intended purpose and manipulating the sale and extracting the quantity from outside the smart card in order to sell the material on the black market.

Hassan pointed out that the Directorate's patrols closed a fuel station in the Dreikish area for the violation of the initiation of cheating on the measure by using a special code to tamper with the electronic card system, in addition to closing shops that committed violations of possession of expired materials, the absence of a specification card, a deficiency in the declaration card, failure to adhere to the specified weights and trade in materials of unknown source. .

Hassan indicated that two shops were also closed in the Tartous and Dreikish regions and sealed with red wax, and the two officers were referred to the appropriate court in the first place.
