Syria: The country's media reported today (Tuesday) a series of violent explosions that took place at a military base near the city of Aleppo, the second largest city in the country.
The rebel network affiliated with Aleppo TV reported that the source of the blast was a base in the Hamdnia neighborhood, a suburb of Aleppo.
According to the television network, the base was attacked in September by Israel.
The official news agency of the Syrian regime also reported the explosions but claimed that it was a technical malfunction that occurred in the base areas.
Videos uploaded to social media show some ground damage alongside large explosions and smoke billowing from the hit points.
In a separate incident, missiles fired by regime forces hit an oil distillery operated by the rebels north of the city of Halab and at least one person was killed in the attack.
