Today, the Damascus Narcotics Control Branch arrested three drug dealers in Damascus, and confiscated more than five kilograms of hashish and two thousand Captagon pills.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that after close follow-up and close monitoring, the Narcotics Control Branch in Damascus arrested three persons, the first in the Aisha river in possession of one kilo and six hundred grams of the narcotic substance of hashish and two thousand Captagon pills and the second in Jisr al-Kabas in possession of 2.5 kilograms of hashish The drug and the third is in Qazzaz, in a warehouse for selling scrap, and a kilo and two hundred grams of hashish were found in his possession with an electronic balance, and by interrogating the arrested, they confessed to their trade, possession and promotion of hashish.
The Ministry stated that those arrested are those with a record of drug crimes, and one of them has a police notice for the crime of stealing electricity, and narcotics have been confiscated and the motorcycle has been seized, and research is still continuing to reveal those involved in the case to take the necessary measures against them.
