Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, affirmed that the only way to naturally re-implement the nuclear agreement with Iran is to return without preconditions to what it was before the administration of former US President Donald Trump arrived at the White House.
In a statement to Sputnik, Ulyanov indicated that this means that the Americans should lift their sanctions on the Iranian nuclear program, enable Iran to trade oil and other commodities naturally, and Iran should resume all its obligations as soon as possible.
Ulyanov noted that Russia is ready for "fruitful and constructive cooperation with the United States" on the nuclear deal with Iran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatib Zadeh confirmed yesterday that the nuclear agreement does not need a mediator, stressing the need for the United States of America to fulfill its obligations regarding the agreement.
It is noteworthy that Trump announced on May 8, 2018, his country's withdrawal from the nuclear agreement signed between Iran and the P5 + 1 group in 2015, while the European countries that signed the agreement announced their adherence to it and its full implementation.
