Green politician Brugger in the Bundestag: your home during the session

The other day she was among people again.
Well, recently, it has been almost four months since the Green politician Agnieszka Brugger was nominated as a direct candidate for the federal election in October 2020 by her district association in Ravensburg.
She got 97 percent.
"It was really nice to finally look people straight in the eye, to see people clapping," says Brugger when she remembers it on a cold December day in Berlin.
She walks along the Spree, through the government district, past the Reichstag and the Paul Löbe House for the parliamentary offices, past the Bundestag daycare center to the Chancellery.
This is Brugger's world, it is at home here, at least during the session weeks.
Brugger has been a member of parliament for eleven years, and she was elected to the Bundestag for the first time at the age of 24.
She has seen the aftermath of the financial crisis, the euro crisis, the refugee crisis.
And now the corona crisis.
The pandemic changed politics faster than any other crisis in Germany.
In parliament, the members of the parliament have to keep their distance, there are no more conversations in the corridors, the committee meetings take place digitally, appointments in the constituency have to be moved to the network or canceled.
