Arresting a wanted person in the Damascus countryside against more than a dozen radio stations researching drug crimes, and a court ruling for 15 years

Officers from Al-Assad Villages Police Station in Damascus Countryside arrested a wanted person against more than 12 radio stations researching drug crimes, and a court ruling for 15 years.

In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, the Ministry of Interior clarified that, through close monitoring and investigation, members of the Al-Assad Villages Police Station arrested the wanted person at the Al-Assad Villages intersection, after receiving information to the center about a person promoting narcotic substances using a public car to transport these substances without the knowledge of the car owner and using An ID card belonging to his brother instead of his being wanted.

According to the statement, the wanted person was in possession of an amount of the narcotic heroin, and by checking his status, it was found that there were 12 requests against him for various crimes, including drug promotion, drug abuse, theft and stabbing, and a court ruling was found against him in absentia with a term of fifteen years imprisonment.
