As part of the fight against road accidents on the roads, the Traffic Division works at the intelligence level against recidivist criminals, who blatantly violate the law and endanger all road passengers.

During 2018, in the activity of the Traffic Division SAR, the defendant was documented committing an offense of detour on a continuous dividing line. He disobeyed police orders and was arrested only after a chase in the northern area.
His driver's license was revoked for the offense and non-compliance with a police officer's order.
However, according to the indictment, several months later, as part of a search for recidivist drivers, the driver was arrested by police detectives once again, while driving while his license was still disqualified.
He was later arrested and taken for questioning at the IDF offices, after his vehicle was shut down for 30 days.
The Israel Police stated: "We will continue to use all the means at our disposal in order to increase the chances of the movement's criminals being caught and prosecuted."
