According to the municipality, the kindergartens in these neighborhoods will operate six days a week, and the daycare centers will start operating from Sunday for five days a week.

In grades 1-2, they will study five days a week for five hours a day, and the after-hours classes will run from Sunday.

In third-fourth grades, learning will be in half-grades, five days a week for hours a day.

Open-air meetings are allowed throughout the area and for each age group in a group of up to nine students and a teacher.

The principal of one of the schools in the city said she is awaiting a final response from the municipality following various reports.

She said that even if the school opens tomorrow, she estimates that not many students will come.

"Some parents have already approached the educators and said they will not be sent to the school tomorrow, because it is a regional school and other orange and red neighborhoods come to it as well."

The municipality responded that "the Jerusalem municipality acted in accordance with the government's decision, as reflected in the Home Front Command's publication regarding the outline of return to school, of fourth-graders in orange areas with a vaccination rate above 70%. The Jerusalem municipality analyzed the neighborhood data and announced the implementation. "The local government decision. The educational institutions in Jerusalem will open as the municipality informed the residents."

According to the outline proposed by the Ministry of Health and approved last night, in two weeks the fifth-sixth and eleventh-twelfth grades will return to activity in the neighborhoods that meet the criteria, and in a month the entire education system will operate with the return of seventh-tenth grades.

The vaccination rate of each authority will be determined once a week, along with the decision on the color of the city.

Inter-ministerial staff will be determined for areas within a particular authority - a neighborhood or several neighborhoods from the city, a locality within a regional council - that will be defined as areas where the vaccinated rate is different from the rate in the entire authority and studies are allowed in them.

In kindergartens, primary and secondary schools (including grades 5-12), open-air meetings can be held in a group of up to nine students and a teacher.
