The Technical Committee for the Martial Arts in Homs conducted experiments to select the governorate's national team in the Muay Thai game, in preparation for participating in the Republic Championship that will be held in Damascus tomorrow.

In a statement to SANA, the Chairman of the Technical Committee for Martial Arts in Homs, Abd al-Hadi Bahsik, said that the committee, in its first mission, conducted experiments in selecting the governorate team to participate in the Republic Championship, pointing out that the committee is tasked with supervising muay thai sports, combat throwing power, kung fu, taekwondo, kyokenshay, eagles, aikido, jujutsu and yoni. Bahsik explained the importance of creating technical sub-committees for combat sports in the governorates, which are affiliated with the Supreme Committee for Martial Arts Sports, as they contribute to organizing, framing and developing the work of these sports.
The committee includes in its membership Abd al-Hadi Bahsik as chairman, Sumer Abboud as secretary, Mazen al-Saeed, Kanan al-Daif and Ahmed Diab as members.
