Winter returns: Towards the middle of next week, there is a reversal of the heat trend that is sweeping Israel, with rains, low temperatures and a chance of snow falling in the mountains.

Until the cold wave begins, the next few days are expected to be partly cloudy to clear with a slight drop in temperatures, but they will continue to be higher than normal for the period, especially in the mountains.

According to the Meteorological Service, the summary of precipitation data so far shows that the amounts of rain since the beginning of the season are higher than the average in the north of the country with 120% -150% of the average for the corresponding period.

In the Western Galilee region (Nahariya - Rosh Hanikra), the cumulative amounts reach 160% -170%.

In other parts of the coastal plain, precipitation amounts of up to 85% of the entire season's rain fell.

It should be noted that the level of the Sea of Galilee is 79.5 cm from the upper red line.
