Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that his country would take new action in response to the failure of the United States and Europe to abide by their pledges in the nuclear deal.
The Iranian News Agency IRNA quoted Zarif as saying in a video message in English on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, "The endeavor of the Iranian people over the past 100 years to self-determination and to achieve responsible judgment has been achieved despite all obstacles, including foreign conspiracies." Our main achievement is to benefit from the talents and capabilities of our people. This has enabled us to obtain the largest domestic industrial infrastructure and we have faced the largest barrage of economic terrorism in recent history.
Zarif added: Even in the Covid 19 pandemic, the previous US administration did not stop its illegal attacks on ordinary Iranians, as former President Donald Trump wagered on the myth that Iran is a country that can be forced to choose between collapse and surrender, and we have all seen the result of this bet.
