"How many mates, laughter, lived moments ...", says a sign that the neighbors pasted in the newspaper stand of Olmos y Bustos, in the Villa Independencia neighborhood of Lomas de Zamora.

That stop, more than 20 years ago, was the meeting point with

Enrique Omar De Vita (49)

, the neighborhood newspaper man.

Last Friday he was brutally murdered, while working, and for the crime they are looking for his girlfriend's ex.

The main hypothesis is that it was a

related femicide

, that he was murdered with the intention of "hurting" the woman, with whom the little boy had a relationship for more than four years.

"They

had to be hidden because he would not let them

. They had to hide all the time," said Valentina De Vita (21), one of the victim's daughters.

It is not clear if there was a trigger for the murderer to decide to attack Enrique this Friday, around eleven in the morning.

The truth is that the main suspect is

Julio Rafael Mosevich (47),

who is still a fugitive and is wanted by the Police.

Mosevich parked his gray Volkswagen Fox on the corner, got out, and shot De Vita at his newsstand.

That morning, Enrique sent text messages until 10.25.

Soon after, Mosevich parked his gray Volkswagen Fox in the corner, got out, and shot him.

Witnesses heard five shots just before Enrique could escape from his newsstand, the same one he had inherited from his father.

Two of those shots hit him in the body.

He died before reaching the hospital.

"

I'm going to kill you,

"

Mosevich used to tell the mother of his children to scare her.

For De Vita, those threats were glances in the neighborhood or some comments that, so frequent,

nobody believed them

anymore

.

His family learned of these messages shortly before the crime.

Until then, he avoided worrying them.

The photo of the suspect, who is still at large, was posted on the newsstand.

"He told my sister on Sunday. My father was afraid that he would do something to her, but the opposite ended up happening. The threats came a few months ago, although I found out later. My father said that he would not I was going to do nothing, I minimized it, one does not expect this ending, "Valentina told

Clarín

.

The investigation was left in the hands of the Prosecutor's Office N ° 3 of Lomas de Zamora, in charge of Lorenzo Latorre.

During the first hours, an emergency operation was carried out to intercept the suspect at the Ezeiza International Airport.

This clue was considered because the victim had made reference to a passage that was destined for Portugal, the country where one of her children lives.

Enrique had mentioned it because he was already afraid that he would do something to his partner before he left.

The messages at the newspaper stand in Quique, a place that he had inherited and that he attended for 20 years.

The truth is that this data allowed to generate an alert and they trust that the man remains in the country.

De Vita's partner and the alleged murderer's ex-they trusted- "is devastated" and scared while the person responsible for the murder remains at large.

"It was to hurt her, to separate them and he succeeded.

We need you to look for him, to find him. They have to be around here, they can't be far away. All I ask is that they find him so that my dad may rest in peace. , because they are not going to give it back to me ", asked Valentina.

Linked femicide is a figure so repeated in cases of gender violence that it is typified in the Penal Code.

According to data from the observatory "Now that they see us," in 2020 there were 267 women victims of sexist violence.

In addition, there were 31 victims of related femicides.

Women, girls, men or boys who were killed with "the purpose of causing suffering to a person with whom they have or have had a relationship," as the law requires.

The victim was a fan of Los Andes.
